Crafted for lightning speed, comfort and unlimited attitude, the revamped 5150™ Standard revives the classic with a mix of vintage and contemporary features. Featuring a modified Strat®-style basswood body with deeper body contours, the graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck offers a modified “C” profile, a hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish, heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel, and a Stealth Black colored “hockey stick” headstock with an EVH® logo decal. The 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard, armed with 22 jumbo frets and cream dot inlays, offers effortless playability. Unlike its single humbucking bridge pickup, this 5150 features an HH pickup arrangement with a three-way toggle switch on the upper bout. The EVH® Wolfgang® Alnico 2 humbucking bridge pickup provides perfect punch and articulation.
